Your Impact

As Practice Lead 'Microsoft MTech' you operate at the forefront of the practice and shape it further. You are active in the ‘triangle’: team – clients – strategy and combine business development, (project) delivery and relationship building at management level. You drive the further development of existing and new customers within the North, in collaboration with Commerce North. Not only that, but you connect Business and IT and make a connection with the Ordina propositions. Furthermore, you play an important role in expanding the success of the North region and Ordina as a whole. Customer focus and entrepreneurship are crucial here.

At the same time, as a line manager, you are responsible for the further expansion and development of your team and individual team members. You lead your team of approximately 10 Microsoft professionals by inspiring and facilitating them. You undertake and inspire from the content and build the practice with your team. In the (further) development of solutions and the maintenance and expansion of expertise, you get a lot of space for your own entrepreneurship, leadership, and creativity.

As Practice Lead, you stand for the growth and development of your practice and thus for attracting both young talents and experienced MCPs (Microsoft Certified Professionals) from the Microsoft Community. You are an inspiring conversation partner for them. You know how to connect, you create involvement, and you know how to bind your professionals and let them get the best out of themselves. You bring them further in their career and help them to be the best version of themselves.  

In your role you deliver added value by, for example, presales activities, by finding the right solutions for customer problems together with your colleagues, by shaping deals with the customer, as Delivery owner of a contract and by delivering added value to these customers yourself.

As key change agent, you will help build a culture of collaboration with colleagues, customers and partners, inside and outside Ordina. The culture that matches the ambition to work as a network organization, an ecosystem in which experts work together to achieve the best solutions.

Where you're going to get started

As Area North, they are the Digital Transformation partner for clients. Ordina helps to connect clients and their business challenges with smart IT technology and solutions. Starting from regional market and customer themes, Ordina helps clients from advice to implementation of issues around business, organization, IT & Data, through High Performance Teams and offering appropriate solutions. The employees have substantively challenging assignments where professional growth and collaboration in High Performance Teams are key.

The practice 'Microsoft MTech' takes organizations further with the sustainable migration to and integration of applications and platform services in Microsoft's cloud platform, Azure. They realize innovative solutions for clients based on Microsoft technology, combining consulting skills with cloud architecture expertise and software development. They do this in multidisciplinary teams for the entire product life cycle. Helping clients define a product vision that they translate into an MVP that is actually put into production. Likewise, they then build this version every sprint as they continue to learn, improve and grow as a team and as professionals.

The consultants in this practice fulfill the roles of Microsoft Software Developers, Microsoft Software Architects and Azure Cloud Experts.

As Practice Lead, you have a good overview of your practice and a strong drive to work with your team to find and implement the best fit solutions for our customers. You have a strong vision of the market and use this to generate business and shape it in (HP) Teams and projects.

You carry out your vision on Cloud and software development based on Microsoft technology in an inspiring way, bring professional authority and passion for the profession as well as the latest trends & developments;

As a reliable business partner for the client, you know how to expand the client portfolio and services of the practice;

Based on entrepreneurship, you see opportunities for portfolio development and you have the right skills to lead winning proposal processes. Of course, you celebrate the successes within the practice;

As Practice Lead you manage professionals. You know how to bind professionals to you and take them on assignments with clients. You let your professionals be the best version of themselves from a professional point of view. You create and stimulate involvement and knowledge exchange, and inspire your team to develop;

You know the importance of the Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) and you have a network within Microsoft Netherlands with which you can expand Ordina's partnership with Microsoft.

What you bring

• A relevant college or university education;
• Experience and authority in development, migration and/or integration of Microsoft applications and platforms;
• Entrepreneurship;
• A track record on delivering solutions for customers and delivering what you promise;
• Leadership focused on inspiring, motivating and engaging your professionals, growing them to the next challenge, one step better every day;
• Focus on collaboration and a solid network, both inside and outside Ordina (Microsoft community, DevNet North);
